e-KYC Mandatory For PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna: As per reports, farmers will receive the 10th installment of PM-KISAN Yojna on January 1 if they will complete their e-KYC in time. This comes as good news for all beneficiary farmers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the funds on January 1, 12 PM.
Ahead of this announcement official website of the scheme has put a message for beneficiaries.
It says, “eKYC is Mandatory for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. Please click the eKYC option in Farmer Corner for Aadhar based OTP Authentication and for Biometric Authentication contact nearest CSC Centres.”
How To Do e-KYC For PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna
- Visit official website https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- On the right-hand side, find Farmers Corner.
- Click on e-KYC.
- A page will open that will ask for your information.
- Enter your Aadhar Number and Captcha Code and click on the Search button.
- After that enter your registered mobile number and click on the Get OTP button.
- Enter OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click on Submit For Authentication button.
How To Check Installment Status
- Visit official website https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- Click on the Beneficiary Status tab.
- Enter Aadhar Number/Mobile Number/Account Number
- Click on the Get Data button.
What is PM-KISAN Yojna
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is a Government of India-run initiative. By this initiative, each farmer gets Rs 6000 per year as minimum income support.
The scheme was first conceived and implemented by the Government of Telangana as Rythy Bandhu Scheme.

Piyush Goyal, then Acting Minister of Finance on February 1, 2019, during the Interim Union Budget of India announced the initiative.
The scheme costs Rs 75,000 crore per annum. It came into effect in December 2018 and has been in operation.
In the scheme, each farmer gets Rs 6000 per annum in three installments. The funds come directly in the registered bank account of farmers. This ensures that they receive their money on time without corruption.
